Luxurious skyscrapers, sacred mosques, broad and boundless desert … we got a chance to visit these signature attractions in Dubai last winter. Our curiosity and enthusiasm about learning flared up high as the temperature in the largest territory in the UAE. We talked with the founder and manager of Tonic International and gained insights into their successful advertising campaign for Audi. We also exchanged views on current topics of communication studies with the faculty of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC) at the American University in Dubai (AUD) – the hub of communication education and research on the Arabian Peninsula.
