The Department of Communication Studies marks two notable achievements in the public relations field. Associate Professor Angela Mak has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Public Relations Professionals' Association (PRPA) for the 2026–2027 term, joining a body of veteran practitioners and industry leaders shaping the future of the profession.

On the same occasion, three Public Relations and Advertising students - Jiselle Chu, Rainbow Chan, and Fiona Kwong - were honored as outstanding participants in the PRPA Student Attachment Program, reflecting the Department's commitment to equipping students with the professional skills demanded by today's communication industry.
