COMS Students Create Impactful Publications for the Community COMS Students Create Impactful Publications for the Community

PRAO3035 Public Relations Writing students, led by Prof. Angela Mak, collaborated with Maggie's Centres Hong Kong to produce three meaningful publications that support the cancer community!

📖 What they created:
1️⃣ A Plant Guide for Maggie's Garden guided tour (1,000 copies) 🌿
2️⃣ Cancer Cookbook 5th Edition (5,000 copies for Tuen Mun Hospital's Cancer Health & Nutrition Week) 👩‍🍳
3️⃣ Upcoming cancer cookbook edition (2,000 copies) 📘

Our talented students handled everything from interviews and research to writing, editing, design, photos, and illustrations! The plant guide features five inspiring stories and 30 unique plant species from Maggie's serene garden near Tuen Mun Hospital

The cookbook includes five feature stories written by students, sharing genuine experiences from cancer patients and caregivers

This service-learning project showcases how the COMS future PR professionals are making a real difference in their community! 👏
