The International Virtual Summer Camp 2022 was organized by the Department of Communication Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University. Held online between the 28th and the 31st of July 2022, this one-of-a-kind inter-university online event brought together international experts who shared their professional insights and the best practices for strategic communication in areas such as the metaverse, web 3.0, NFT as a media, electronic sports and more.
Students from around the world applied their knowledge and skills by collaborating and competing with their counterparts in different regions. They formed teams to work on a client brief and develop a strategic communication solution in 48 hours. They presented their creative ideas and received feedback from international experts. The winning teams or individuals received receive cash prizes of up to $1,000 USD.
